Cushion Clamp Retainer Kit

This unique accessory allows for the installation of a #10-32 permanent threaded insert for thread repairs or for a completely new retention device. Includes 10 ea. rivet nut inserts, button head socket cap screws and washers. Easily removable for periodic maintenance while providing a firm base that resists stripping of the threads and pulling through the mounting surface as is common with sheet metal screws. Simply drill a 9/32'' hole in the frame rail or panel, insert the threaded rivet nut using the handy insert tool (555-80451), nosepiece (555-80457) and mandrel (555-80463) sold separately.
